| One of the hardest things to do is to come up with an idea or concept that is funny. It sounds easy but believe me it is very difficult. I don't know how many times I have thought of something really funny and when I was telling Jeff about it I realized that it wasn't funny at all. Ideas for cartoons can come from anywhere but life in general is the best place to find lots of funny things. Many times things change from the original idea to the final cartoon. As an example originally the cartoon "The Hunter" was supposed to show a stuffed CareBear (don't pretend you don't know what a CareBear is) but Jeff thought it would be better if the bear looked like another famous bear. He was afraid people wouldn't get the CareBear reference. After seeing the finished cartoon, I think he is right. |
